Product Details

This particular greenish tone of the cyan color in Paraiba is appreciated by connoisseurs for being not as commonly used in jewelry as the Blue Paraiba and thus more exclusive. The neon depth of this oval shaped gem is reminiscent of the mesmerising lagoons of Tahiti islands where Paul Gauguin created his most revealing masterpieces. It is a matter of personal taste if you prefer your gem to be on the greenish or bluish side, but the fact remains that Paraiba is the most coveted Tourmaline ever existed in history.

"No stone in generations, perhaps ever, had seen such a swift acceleration in value and caused such a buzz at an international trade event. What was it to be called? “Neon Tourmaline” was a popular choice but in the end the question “Where is this from?” provided its name – the “Paraiba Tourmaline”
